10 Cool Things to Do in Dubai This SeasonLike1

1. Experience Aqua Park in Atlantis with Royal Caribbean UK

One of the greatest experiences while in Dubai is Aqua Park in Atlantis. Reason is simple, I guarantee laughter like no other to a point where your stomach cramps! The Aqua Park in Atlantis was in collaboration with Royal Caribbean UK, the all inclusive cruise, every cruise you book to Dubai with them, you can a chance to pick an excursion that is included in the package and we picked Aqua Park and loved every minute of it! Make sure you go early! As I live in Dubai, I was able to drive straight to Atlantis but if you’re coming from a Royal Caribbean ship, you will have been dropped off at cruise terminal Mina Rashid, DP World Cruise Terminals, from where you will be picked up for any of the available excursions.

2. Visit the Dubai Opera

The Dubai Opera programme is available to view online and tickets to The Pearl Fishers, The Barber of Seville, Opera Without Words, Coppélia, Giselle, Postcards from Vienna, Mozart Gala, Impossible, José Carreras, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Sara Baras, Anoushka Shankar, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, The Nutcracker on Ice and Slava’s Snowshow can be purchased online.

Stunning outdoor decor and fantastic place to be since the weather is cooling.

6. Miss Lily’s Jamaican Restaurant

Good luck getting a table reservation there! The rumors were true! It took us a month and a half to get a table! But oh was it so worth the wait! You may never want to leave! Located in the Sheraton Grand hotel and serving the best Jamaican & Caribbean food in the city. The jerk chicken reminded me of the month we spent in Jamaica back in 2009.

Sheraton Grand, 5th Floor | Dubai, United Arab Emirates | Call 04 354 4074

7. Dine in Couqley

A new French restaurant called Couqley has hit the Dubai scenes pretty strong! The Merry Poppins of french cuisines (which are difficult to find in Dubai). A delicious french bistro from the heart of Beirut! It’s located in Cluster A in JLT, Laguna Tower.

Laguna Tower | Mövenpick Hotel Cluster A | Jumeirah Lake Towers|  Daily starting from noon until 2am | Tel: +9714 5149339.

8. Eat in Mythos Kouzina & Grill

The only thing that is missing here is the breaking of traditional plates on the floor, perhaps one day but for now, Mythos Kouzina & Grill has been the place to go to for authentic Greek food! Have a glass of wine, order the spicy feta cheese dip and enjoy the music that will for a long second, take you back to Greece!

9. Brunch at La Brasserie 2.0

They call it brunching to the next level. One of the richest brunches you will find. Over 10 live cooking stations, fresh seafood and an after party from 5-8pm! You will love the selection of desserts, the wine bar ‘buffet style’ (very cool) and the beautiful atmosphere outdoor (when weather permits) otherwise you can sit indoor! Great for family & friends! Grab your kids, your friends and start your day at 1:30 pm and enjoy one of the best live bands we’ve heard in a long time!

10. The Jetty Lounge

The season is ON! An old time favorite and always on our list! The Jetty Lounge at The One & Only Royal Mirage in Dubai is a wonderful place for sundowners! You might keep coming back for the olives, the drinks or the Spanish tapas. Whatever it may be, you will be back here over and over again.

  • I found this picture so appropriate that manifests the beauty of my world, my reality, my job and to announce that I am hosting a workshop in DUBAI on the 30th of September at 11am on 'How to start your own blog and be successful on social media'. • I miss you with all my heart and soul...
  • A year ago I was having breakfast with those beautiful giants. An unforgettable experience. Thank you all for your beautiful comments on my previous post 💕
  • I struggled to choose a caption for this image because they say that you are what you share on social media, and so, I wanted to make it count.
Being a 'blogger' or a 'traveler' has changed significantly over the past few years. You can’t go on Instagram without stumbling upon hundreds of carefully selected, beautifully crafted images.
The truth is, today, things are not the same as they used to be. Travel has changed and grown. The internet has given us a chance to see the world through people's eyes and to dream of places many of us never even knew existed.
But social media has also changed travel and the nature of blogging. Sharing my travel online has today somewhat been a constant pressure and the staging of every single photo has become the business of every instagrammer.
I have felt the pressure of keeping up and carefully selecting what I chose to share.
I've even promised myself that I would be a leader, not a follower, and stay far away from online traveling trends that would warp my ability to offer my readers the very best & honest tips and insider reports.
The key...is confidence... I had the chance to make every possible mistake and figure out a way to always recover from it. Once you realize that there is life after a mistake, you gain your confidence and that, never goes away,
It goes straight to the heart and once you have that, no one and nothing can take that away from you . . I hope I’ll always have the courage to live a life that’s true to who I am and not the life that others expect of me... 💕[Click link in bio to read the full article] 💕.
