30,000 AED for Your StoryLike3

To be the greatest traveler means you need to be prepared for any unforeseen circumstances and any unplanned surprises. 6 out of 10 of you in the UAE travel with zero travel insurance. So, when RSA Insurance started a campaign on raising awareness on travel  insurance, I was immediately on board to partner up and raise this issue.

What does it take?

AED 50 to buy travel insurance to save you from any troubles throughout your journey. Whether it’s a lost passport or luggage, or even emergency medical care, travel insurance can have you covered.

I lost my bags in Amsterdam in 1998 with no travel insurance. I received my bags after 3 days. It was 2 degrees celsius outside. Yep. Nightmare.

I was stuck in Asia during the Volcanic eruption. This time, I had insurance.

I broke my toe while traveling on a bike across Europe. I had travel insurance.

I saved money, energy and time.

How to win your dream vacation worth AED 30,000.

Now, RSA Insurance is looking to turn your unluckiest travel experience around.

  • There are so many beautiful view points in Dubrovnik that’s easy to find. This one was from a place called Panorama Bar, views of the Old City,
the Lapad Bay and the nearby islands.

  • The gates of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Angkor empire. There are 5 gates to the capital, built in the 12th century. The main gate was made with sculptures of 54 gods, one on each side, and the same number of demons on the other. I got that eerie feeling while driving through. I was in a Tuk Tuk and couldn’t help but stop and take a deep breath before entering, my heart was beating out of my chest. I’ve only made it to 2 gates but would love to go back and learn more. Looking at the picture got all the feelings back 💕
Thanks to @beautifulcambodia for guiding me!
  • You will always be the one person I’ll never stop looking for in a crowded place 💕
  • A little green overdose and into the jungle 🦋
  • I am made up of thousands of others. Everyone who has ever loved me, cared or inspired me or spoken one word of encouragement to me. Who I am is because of the people in my life 💕
  • They told me I had to be ready at 4:30am to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the UNESCO site and the largest religious monument in the world. A Tuk Tuk drove me to the site, it was about 30 minutes off-road(ish), dark with no street lights and it was cold. I sat outside the temple gates looking at absolutely nothing, total darkness. I couldn’t see a thing for an hour. Then, sunrise... and I start seeing shadows of the temple and colors in the sky and there it was. They said that I was one of the luckiest ones because October is the wettest season and so they rarely get a clear sky at sunrise. And here I was, staring and what was once a black endless nothing to a place I always dreamed of ever seeing! 💕
  • You know how sometimes, your life is so perfect you’re afraid for the next moment, because it couldn’t possibly be quite as good? That’s what it feels like being in Cambodia for the first time.
  • Permission to call it my own... permission to hold on to whatever I fall in love with.
  • It was the last morning in London @thesavoylondon - I always get emotional leaving this city! A place I once called home 💕Happy weekend everyone!
  • Spent one morning with Annee on @demamielskin farm where she taught me what she learned on Chinese medicine, meditation and the way her essential oils were made. I even got to make my own! Her products are sold on @netaporter and she has a 3 year waiting list!!!! She’s an incredible woman and partnered up with @virginatlantic to provide the ‘Altitude oil’ for upper class passengers. #LivefromVirgin
