The addiction for Japanese food continues! Couple of months ago, we were invited to the opening of Watatsumi in Le Meridien Mina Seyahi in Dubai. I have to admit, by the time I arrived, there was no food left, so I was unsure of the whole dining experience and left quite empty.
A couple of months later, we were asked to join Chef Aijiro for a private food tasting dinner, this time I had almost everything I ever wanted and maybe a little more with oysters on the menu, which I can never eat.
Every new encounter means a new story. I was foodie pressured into eating that oyster, making me believe my life will change…but not, did not manage to go through it!
Mostly, his personality shined right through his dishes and his history stories of Japan and ever since that dinner, I got hooked on his dishes!
After a week later, I yearned for more of his delicious Japanese cooking, so I booked the following weekend, this time I ordered extra sushi and no oysters!
