A Kinesiology ApproachLike0

Can we effectively adapt to change enough to survive in the future? As our ecology changes, fast, our society and eating intakes face overwhelming anxieties, causing confusion to our body and minds. Medicine today is now the cure and the cause for illnesses. Malpractice in doctors is on the rise due to the economy. As we live in a fast pace world, so does the practice of medicine. People are now looking for faster cures, ignoring the body. I can’t help but believe we have the potential to do better.

A Kinesiology Approach

Last week, I chose the holistic approach to medicine. A holistic approach has been dated all the way back to medieval times times. A holistic view means that we are interested in engaging and developing the whole person. You can think of this as different levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. It’s the concept that the human being is multi-dimensional.

Kinesiology, also known as human kinetics, is the scientific study of human movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, mechanical, and psychological mechanisms. Applications of kinesiology to human health include biomechanics and orthopedics; strength and conditioning; sport psychology; methods of rehabilitation, such as physical and occupational therapy; and sport and exercise

She called it an interview with my body. It is exactly what it sounds, sort of. Dr. Stossier would ask the questions and my body would answer her back.

Dr. Christine Stossier, leading light in women’s health treats issues from fertility through to the natural stages of menopause and healthy aging. She administers a hormone-appropriate diet, treatment and detox plan to enhance hormone production & regulation, increase energy and help patients achieve an ideal weight and therefore more confidence. Glowing skin, healthy hair and a toned body are outward signs that Mayr therapy works, but our ultimate goal is on achieving significantly better long-term health for her patients.

Her husband, Dr. Harald Stossier introduces cutting-edge intravenous laser therapy to optimize brain and body energy metabolism. It’s efficacious in treatment of pain relief and chronic diseases connected with a weak immune system, including chronic liver disease, autoimmune deficiency, skin conditions, diabetes, fibromyalgia, metabolism disorders and heart disease. Athletes use it to enhance sports performance.

During my examination, Dr. Christine would discover how my body anatomy would react given specific supplements. Iron, Vitamins, Gluten etc. My body responded by pushing back with my leg and would determine the success with the movement. I was given information about my anatomy and finally answers to the reasons of few unanswered questions that most doctors could not be specific on.

We all need to give our organs a break from being slaves to our body. I was always in favor of escaping to Medical Centers for detox and transforming health. I recently came across Viva Mayr where Dr. Christine practices her holistic approach.

Highly specialised private medical facility in Austria. Meticulous planning went in to designing VIVAMAYR Maria Wörth’s brand new upgraded medical centre. It contains ultra-modern consultation & treatment rooms, a high. spec laboratory, stunning infusion treatment spaces and colonic hydrotherapy & hypothermia rooms.

Sophisticated diagnostics are followed by transforming treatments. These include immune boosting hyperthermia treatments, abdominal massage therapy, Lüscher colour therapy, new brain-boosting activities, alkalising diet plans, orthomolecular medicine and of course the core of any treatment plan –  VIVAMAYR‘S strict detox for head to toe health.

The clinic was set up in 2004 by the Mayr practitioner and physician Dr. Harald Stossier and has quickly established an international reputation and an army of devotees. VIVA is the centre of the Modern Mayr medicine. Burn Out, allergies, hypertension and overweight are only some afflictions, which affect us more and more in our civilization. Through the Modern Mayr medicine in connection with applied kinesiology we support your body detox program individually. VIVA also offers patients colon hydrotherapy, the hypethermia and laser-supported weight reduction.

  • I’ve been in limbo with my photography and experiencing some sort of a creative block.
The digital world can either inspire you or exhaust you from repeatedly the same quotes, topic of conversations, images, style, colors, places, food etc.
I’ve promised myself since the very start, not to fall into a trap of measuring & using my passion for photography based on the number of likes and comments on Instagram, but instead, to shoot, post, open my heart and soul through challenging myself to be more creative through my lens and be more of myself, in between dreams and reality and most importantly, for the feeling to be real...
As creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes, Art is knowing which ones to keep... So bare with me a little until I find myself again...

  • Lebanon in summer is all about exploring. Found this new hip beach bar on the coast of Byblos. The graffiti on the wall, the hanging hammocks in the water and the vibe, makes this place one of the cutest beach clubs I’ve seen so far. I love my beautiful home 🇱🇧
  • The last time I switched my laptop on was 5 days ago. The last time that happened was exactly a year ago. My phone is most of the time misplaced far away from me, my camera is still in my bag, my mind is switched off and I’m surrounded with love 💕and music 🎶. So happy to be back in Lebanon on my official summer break.
  • Home sweetest home ❤️
  • I love the the 3 AM version of people... Honest, vulnerable and real.
  • I have some sort of mental block this morning... which is a good thing so... Happy Thursday ☀️
  • This is a (long) thank you post... To my teachers.
Thank you for showing me my true strength... Not only physical strength, but more importantly mental strength.
Thank you for allowing me to let go... Whenever I feel I need a break from the world, your shala is the first place I run to... and when I’m away, it’s the first place I think of when I practice on my own, miles away. The sound of my breathing alone, takes me back to the exact spot where I place my mat... and I’m fully transported back to the stillness and awareness.
Thank you for giving me a safe place to seek connection & allowing me to breathe... when I’m at my most vulnerable, you’ve made it ok for my tears to roll down my face in Savasana or during a posture, open up and just be me without any judgement.
Thank you for offering so much of yourself to allow me to grow through my practice... Thank you for teaching me the true meaning of yoga, how to practice not only on the mat, but off the mat too... Yoga is a natural state of mind and not whether or not you can touch your toes.
The light in me honors the light in you. Happy New moon

  • I’m still going through the photos I’ve taken during my trip to Menorca. Still can’t believe how beautiful the island is!
  • Last couple of days at work before heading back home 🇱🇧. What are your summer plans? Anything exciting?
  • Your memory feels like home to me.
So whenever my mind wanders, it always finds its way back to you 💫
  • Someone at work asked me the other day what my goals were... I told them to be happy. To be really really really F**** happy. What’s yours?
