Here is her Diary

Destination Barcelona, Spain

I have always heard about how beautiful is Spain and the architect is very unique. I love traveling and learning about new cultures especially that Spain in know to have amazing food . Since am child I was inspired by their flamingo dresses and the beautiful fabrics they use

Stayed in ARTS Hotel

The hotel was lovely on the marine and right next to the Zoo .The rooms were specious and luxurious with lovely view of the beach .They had one of the cutest roof pools with a lovely garden around it we used to have breakfast in that garden.

They had a very good sushi restaurant and a lovely bar on the terrace which a lovely view of the marina. The area of the hotel is great there lots of local seafood restaurants on the beach and clubs under it. All the people will be jogging at morning and you will find lots on their bicycles going to work ,it’s very central.

Month August

In your suitcase  I had two bags. One bag of shorts, swimsuits, t-shirts, nice shirts, flip-flops and my trusty low-top converse. My other bag was my camera-gear backpack and my tripod of course

Diary We went to the Zoo the first day we arrived. The zoo in Barcelona is one of the best we have seen and is wonderful for kids. We would walk around Las Ramblas and watched the entertainments on the streets and street acts. We visited Park Guell and fell in love with spain’s architecture, history and art. It was very inspiring and beautiful. The stair way and the rooms and walls were built in such a beautiful sense of art .

We also went to Montjuic hill by the cable car where were able to view the lovely port and Barc it such a panoramic view that you don’t want to miss. There is also a small garden and hotel there that is lovely to sit and read a book.

Dined in We’ve tried lots of interesting restaurants in Barc there is a very famous one called TICKETS that you need to book a month ahead of time. Their menu is mainly tapas but all made using science methods. The decoration of the restaurant is amazing..there was super funky chairs with different colors and benches upside down its defiantly a must. They had this weird egg shaped jelly olives juice that you have never tried anything like it.

We have also tried PAKTA the chief is very famous and its Asian cousin and lovely presentation..the food is fabulous and the ambiance was great… They even had a caterpillar shaped desert, which was very interesting to my taste buds!

Botafumeiro was a nice old traditional seafood restaurant that we went to and its very famous in Barcelona. The food is very good and fresh the setup is very simple.

Shopped  Bohemian neighborhood had lots of fun bars and local shops so its defiantly the place to go for unique pieces. They also had lovely coffee shops a bazaar at Las Ramblas every Sunday that had very unique antiques ,accessories and lots of vintage clot.

Mode of Travel Emirates airline direct flight- it was great and it took 7 hours from Dubai

  • Soooo... Weekends in Dubai has resulted at the beach since summer has kicked in!! Here is one of my favorite barefoot lunch spots ❤️ Have you been here?
  • Maldives, you are my favorite distraction 🐠
  • I found a little Tuscany in Dubai!! On small roads in the countryside in Val d’Orcia, sunflowers bloom in summer and it gives you a sense of happiness. On my hunt for inspiration of Italy in the UAE, I found a little bit of Tuscany and happiness in Dubai🌻

  • Back in the desert 🐫 and I think summer just kicked in 🤷🏼‍♀️
  • I woke up right here on my back way from Voss to Oslo. 350 metres above Oslo city and right in Nordmarka forest🌳
  • I could be staring at the same mountains that loomed over passing Vikings and I’m in love... Wouldn’t you be?
  • From Oslo, I took the NSB train to Myrdal which is a 5 hour journey, then boarded the Flåm Railway, named by @natgeotravel one of the most beautiful train journey in Europe taking you through west Norway’s most beautiful scenery. Here we stopped for 10 minutes to step out of the railway for pictures. Can you see Chloè by the window too? ☺️
  • The sun doesn’t rise till around 9am, so it gave me a lot of time to sleep in. Flåm is a small village in southwestern Norway, in an area known for its fjords. It sits at the end of Aurlandsfjord. It’s peaceful, its historical, it’s quiet and it’s not a place you will find all over social media. I found these little red cabins while walking around the small village trying not to slip on the ice that covers the road! I did though, I slipped, laughed got bruised and luckily my camera didn’t fall into the water... but it was so close!
  • I’ve found Kattegat ♥️
  • I was always in a hurry to be someone, always in a hurry to become something and do everything. I didn’t waste my time on things or people that would get me nowhere. I crave a slow life, a simple life filled with adventures. No fast cars or expensive homes and for almost all my life, I’ve built a life in which I never needed to escape from. This is my beautiful reality and this photo represents that to me.
  • I was thinking of a caption that can relate to what I was thinking... but the truth is, simple... I was thinking of absolutely nothing at all... just the fact that I was waking up in the middle of a frozen sea. ♥️
  • Gelato for breakfast and it’s melting!! An obvious one ofcourse 😊 That was my next hunt for ‘inspiration in finding a little bit of Italy in the UAE’ project with @theitalianwayuae How many times a day would you have Gelato in Italy? For me, it was around 4-5!! #TheItalianWay
