Day 2 – The pilot to Real PilatesLike0

My second day session with Delinda at Real Pilates Studios was back to basics, with a bum and thigh twist. The main aim of the session was for me to reconnect with the 5 basic principles of Pilates, while finding out my strengths and weaknesses. The reason Real Pilates Studios has proposed Delinda on my first sessions is because she is known to be the right person to train with if you are focusing on weight loss, shaping hips & thighs and nutrition.

The fun element comes next as we take that analysis, stepping through the weeks and climb the ladder of intensity, in order tone, shape and make those scales become “your friend”.

“I love your shape and know that with dedicated time I will shape it, strengthening the core but giving that bum, the lift. ”

You can imagine how my face expression changed, knowingly that I would need to quote her on that for everyone to read!

“With passion comes many things and I can tell that you are passionate about this challenge.” Now THAT was just perfect and just like that my smile was right back! To be fair, today was a good session. I was nervous at first, but I did find myself up to the challenge and focusing a lot. Trying to breath in the good and out the bad. I can tell Delinda was trying really hard to make my session count as much as possible. We went a bit overtime but that only meant good for me! I left feeling determined, ready and all juiced up for our next session tomorrow with Elisha on the Pilates Core class at the Palm Strip studio!

*A little background on Delinda

Delinda’s own individual interest in fitness and diet led her to train as a Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer and her experience extends from STOTT PILATES to Spin classes, BodyBalance, Free-Style Dance, Body Conditioning and Aerobics.

Her enthusiasm for the health and fitness of children is where her passion lies and she spent several years voluntarily teaching primary school children in the art of dance and diet as part of a fitness regime designed to inspire them for life. She continues to improve and grow in her wellness and wellbeing experience and is currently studying for a Diploma in Advanced Nutrition for Optimum Health as well as working toward her Personal Training Level 3 Certificate.

Her aspiration is to become a STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer and her motivation comes from meditation and her commitment to practicing a path in life enriched by health, and by helping others to achieve their best in every way.

With REAL PILATES® Delinda will impart all her accumulative knowledge in coaching STOTT PILATES to all individuals wishing to gain a greater level of health and well being.

Delinda has a STOTT PILATES Certification in Matwork, as well as Injuries & Special Populations.

  • I’ve been on the road a lot in Lebanon which has been an adventure on its own! The Infiniti Q30 2.0 has the navigation system with updated maps of Lebanon which made it easier to find my way around. It’s things like this I love the most about returning back here. Endless road trips with friends and despite Lebanon being so small, the adventures are endless! #infinitilebanon #Q30
  • Home sweet home ♥️ Spent the weekend dancing the night away and at the beach during the day!
How was your weekend?? 🇱🇧
  • Compassion is power. Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, fear and happiness.
Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery and to smile with those who are happy. Compassion towards others is what makes me human and it’s a skill that I’ve learned to cultivate. And if you don’t have it, then it would be difficult for me to have you in my life.
So this is a reminder to be good to each other today and to those you don’t know. God knows how many of us need it.
Happy Saturday ♥️
  • Lake Chouwen - Lebanon 🇱🇧
A beautiful reserve, a 45 minutes hike and an adventurous location through Jabal Moussa! I even drove through the tiniest road into the mountains and was freaking out but made it through thanks to my co-pilot :)!
Lebanon is filled and surrounded with beautiful nature. 🇱🇧
Had an incredible day exploring Lebanon with @ramimansourr @mikhaelbitar @sarahdibrahim @abbas_kalel
  • Lebanon’s morning activities are filled with daily road trips across the mountains and the coast with close friends. Stopping by historical landmarks and eating the best zaatar in small villages. It also helps when your #infiniti car has BOSE sound-system 😊
Happy Tuesday everyone! 🇱🇧♥️ #Q30 #infinitilebanon
  • Good morning from home in Lebanon in Beit Douma. I can’t tell you how happy I am to be back in Lebanon!!! Have you ever been?

I’ve added an article on a guide to 9 guesthouses in Lebanon, you can click the link in my bio.
  • There really isn’t any better way to sail across Madeira Island than with Pedro and his gang! @rotadoscetaceos2016 We saw whales and swam with wild dolphins!!!! We jumped in the (freezing) Atlantic sea and went diving and discovered the most beautiful island 🌴 Now it’s your turn to go!
  • A beautiful slow morning in Madeira 🌴
Isn’t it beautiful?
  • I believe in giving people time...Time to process the good and the bad because there is something so beautiful about unforced bonds.
I’m a forever kind of person. I don’t have room for temporary. I believe in big love, of growing old with your friends and soulmates. I believe in being there for people through thick and thin. I believe in not giving up when things get tough. I believe in relationships that can make it through everything.
  • It was sunny and we were heading to the pool in Lisbon when all of a sudden a little rain cloud passed and so decided to just walk out and get some pastel de nata 😊
  • Today, my mind is like a laptop set up.
I have 20 tabs open, 4 of them are frozen and I have no idea where the music is coming from... 🤷🏼‍♀️ Dreaming of going back to Madeira 🌴
  • Madeira Island is home to Europe's tallest sea cliff- more than 1,900 feet above sea level. The Madeira Archipelago is located in the Atlantic Ocean, in the African plate.
Before my trip to Madeira, some people told me I only need 3-4 days to tour the island. It’s far from the truth and I’m glad I didn’t listen to them! It’s been a week here and there is still so much I feel I haven’t explored yet!! Would you visit Madeira Island? 🇵🇹
