Places to be in MayLike0

It’s not so easy to always feel the urge to travel. Passion. It lies in all of us. Recently, I realized that so many of us keep planning for the future and sometimes, things don’t even work out. Planning is not bad, but what is wrong with today? What is wrong with saying that THIS IS my investment on my life. No matter how near or far, cheap or expensive. Today is where your will to live and not just survive happens. Not in the future. Places to be in May is not only for May but for summer too and don’t only stop here. You have Japan, Iceland, Asia etc but these below are few ideas that just popped in my mind.

I’ll always remember Ernest Hemingway when I think of taking advantage of my life today. Don’t you ever get the feeling that all your life is going by and you’re not taking advantage of it? Do you realize you’ve lived nearly half the time you have to live already.

Jamaica

The birthplace of reggae, the national motto is “Out of Many, One People” and if you keep your eyes open, you will see it in the faces of each and every person you meet. I urge you to read up on the country’s history before visiting- you will have a greater appreciation of the local diversity once there. The Caribbean is my favorite place to be. Jamaica is a whole new world. It’s for everyone. Families, Adventure and nature lovers, music lovers, fantastic BBQs and road trips! Don’t miss out before hurricane season!

Seychelles

There are so many reasons to fall in love with this place and the breathtaking beaches are definitely one of them. Known as the backdrop for honeymooners, Seychelles is for everyone and not just those going for a romantic break. Other than secluded beaches, the culture of the Seychelles is a unique mix of African, European, and even Asian influences. Local art, music, and architecture are different from what you will find anywhere else in the world. It’s a place for families, singles, honeymooners, adventurer lovers and a place to get away for some peace and quiet.

Amsterdam

It’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world in my opinion. The four seasons, the dams, the tulips, the history, the architecture and one of the most friendliest people. It’s true that the wind in Amsterdam at times feels like Dorothy Gale will land right at your front door, but you wont find a city more beautiful as Amsterdam in the spring time with their open markets, fantastic shopping and music at every corner!

  • From where I drone 🚁 - Beautiful Mauritius 🇲🇺
  • My childhood friend of 30 years took this picture of me last week when we drove to Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. We’ve been friends for so long I can’t remember which one of us is the bad influence 😂. It was so random because she kept on insisting that I don’t turn away from the camera and I couldn’t stop laughing before a bee almost attacked me!! So there you go. Happy Tuesday 🇱🇧♥️
  • Ever been to Croatia? What does this place reminds you of?
  • I had a chance to get away into Bekaa Valley. From the 1st century BC, when the region was part of the Roman Empire, the Beqaa Valley served as a source of grain for the Roman provinces. I took Chloè and stayed in a lovely cozy guest house called @al_haush and explored the fields of crops and vineyards. 🇱🇧 I’m so in love with Lebanon 🇱🇧
  • I found this little lake by mistake on the way to Bekaa Valley. I was surprised given that it was in the middle of nowhere and the water was blue and cold! Where would you suggest I explore more in Lebanon? 🇱🇧 #Q30 #infinitilebanon
  • Some of the greatest sky colors I’ve seen were in Portugal 🇵🇹 Sunset views from @avanilisbonhotel ♥️
Have you been to Lisbon yet?
  • Sunday morning dreaming of being back in Maldives! I’d like to be transported right now!
This would be my super power wish for the day. 😊
What would yours be today?
  • It’s the weekend!!! 🇱🇧🇱🇧 Breakfast table at home in Beit Douma prepared by @kamalmouzawak ♥️
What’s your favorite thing on the table?
  • You know what’s the most beautiful feeling in the world? Knowing that both your presence and absence mean something to someone. ♥️
  • The ancient Phoenician wall in Batroun , Lebanon between (3,300 B.C. to 64 B.C.)
Batroun was once one of the most important Phoenician cities in the region and is one of the oldest cities in the world! It is by far, one of my favorite places in Lebanon 🇱🇧
It was super windy that day but I managed to get few shots on my drone until the battery ran out on me while flying!!! I honestly have no idea how it just landed inside the church walls on its own and not in the water!! 😊
  • Faqra ruins, an archaeological site in Kfardebian, Lebanon, with Roman and Byzantine ruins. It’s one of the most important sites of the UNESCO sites. 🇱🇧 I didn’t know which picture to share so I posted both 😊
