Spring Break Holidays with the FamilyLike0

There’s magic in the air in every season! Got my winter boots back into the ‘winter closet’ and my mind is set for the summer. I’m even on a strict (not so strict) food allowance diet to fit in my freepeople swim suit that I got maybe 10 years ago! Yep, giving birth did change me alright! Anyway, let’s not get carried away with that now and let’s focus on some wonderful Spring Break Holidays with the Family and friends this year! Travel to all sorts of places with your kids! It teaches them so much. Make a point to squeeze in some time for that…not only that bikini you held on for 10 years! Here are Spring Break Holidays with the Family ideas.

1. TanzaniaFrom the Great Migration to spectacular African sunsets, parents looking to share the excitement of wildlife spotting with their children can now combine animal sightings with no end of engaging activities at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, with the launch of the new Big Five Family Safari package.

Over five fun-filled days, the Safari Lodge is offering families the opportunity to discover the very best of the Serengeti, linking daily activities directly to the “big five” animals to ensure a magically memorable stay. To help families make the most of their vacation, the Big Five Family Safari package offers a day by day guideline itinerary, including a hot air balloon safari, planting camera traps around the Lodge’s grounds and for the little ones, making Maasai toothbrushes from local trees.

3- Ascona, Switzerland  Time for family – a short break with grandma and grandpa at the Hotel Eden Roc Ascona. As soon as the temperatures begin rising and the first of the sun’s rays light the new day, the spirits awaken and the little ones are bursting with energy and raring to go. All too often, however, we are tied down by our daily routine and there just isn’t enough time to do anything with the children. Nevertheless, grandparents often lend a helping hand. To let them enjoy a relaxing yet eventful time with their grandchildren, the Hotel Eden Roc in Ascona now offers the “Time for family” special. The offer includes two nights’ accommodation with breakfast and resort dine around as well as a free upgrade from a deluxe double room to a family suite. And while the grandparents relax in the 2,000 square metres of the Eden Roc Spa, a wide range of activities await the little ones including a scavenger hunt using mobile phones, balancing on the slackline, horse riding to the nearby Maggia River, a pirate day on the pirate ship, make-up and dancing lessons, the chance to become a director for the day and to shoot a short film about the holidays and much more besides. The offer is available from 740 Swiss francs (approx. 690 euros) per adult and is free for children up to the age of three. Children up to the age of 14 are charged 60 Swiss francs per night (approx. 55 euros) including resort dine around until 28 March 2015 and 100 Swiss francs (approx. 93 euros) from 27 March to 4 June 2015.

  • From where I drone 🚁 - Beautiful Mauritius 🇲🇺
  • My childhood friend of 30 years took this picture of me last week when we drove to Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. We’ve been friends for so long I can’t remember which one of us is the bad influence 😂. It was so random because she kept on insisting that I don’t turn away from the camera and I couldn’t stop laughing before a bee almost attacked me!! So there you go. Happy Tuesday 🇱🇧♥️
  • Ever been to Croatia? What does this place reminds you of?
  • I had a chance to get away into Bekaa Valley. From the 1st century BC, when the region was part of the Roman Empire, the Beqaa Valley served as a source of grain for the Roman provinces. I took Chloè and stayed in a lovely cozy guest house called @al_haush and explored the fields of crops and vineyards. 🇱🇧 I’m so in love with Lebanon 🇱🇧
  • I found this little lake by mistake on the way to Bekaa Valley. I was surprised given that it was in the middle of nowhere and the water was blue and cold! Where would you suggest I explore more in Lebanon? 🇱🇧 #Q30 #infinitilebanon
  • Some of the greatest sky colors I’ve seen were in Portugal 🇵🇹 Sunset views from @avanilisbonhotel ♥️
Have you been to Lisbon yet?
  • Sunday morning dreaming of being back in Maldives! I’d like to be transported right now!
This would be my super power wish for the day. 😊
What would yours be today?
  • It’s the weekend!!! 🇱🇧🇱🇧 Breakfast table at home in Beit Douma prepared by @kamalmouzawak ♥️
What’s your favorite thing on the table?
  • You know what’s the most beautiful feeling in the world? Knowing that both your presence and absence mean something to someone. ♥️
  • The ancient Phoenician wall in Batroun , Lebanon between (3,300 B.C. to 64 B.C.)
Batroun was once one of the most important Phoenician cities in the region and is one of the oldest cities in the world! It is by far, one of my favorite places in Lebanon 🇱🇧
It was super windy that day but I managed to get few shots on my drone until the battery ran out on me while flying!!! I honestly have no idea how it just landed inside the church walls on its own and not in the water!! 😊
  • Faqra ruins, an archaeological site in Kfardebian, Lebanon, with Roman and Byzantine ruins. It’s one of the most important sites of the UNESCO sites. 🇱🇧 I didn’t know which picture to share so I posted both 😊

  • Northeast of Lebanon, in between the alleys in the old souk of one of the most historical places on earth, Byblos. 🇱🇧
