Join The Movement
We are super excited to have this right here in Dubai! Finally an excuse to ride a bicycle with a basket!!! ( Secret: You will NOT find me at flywheel) For all those who train, cycles for fun or even with their kids (soon a special seat for the very little one too). This one is for you! Meet you at Jumeirah beach?
The Movement is a recently established bicycle shop whose ambition is to promote sustainability and cycling by offering a range of stylish, affordable and practical urban bicycles for adults and children. For those who appreciate style over speed, they also offer a range of accessories such as baskets, bells, and lights for those wanting to add a touch of personality to their bicycle. Love your bike and cycling life! Founded by 2 bicycle enthusiasts that moved to Dubai from cycling friendly cities.

The Movement encourages everyone to cycle, not just for fun and sport but also as a utilitarian city bike for short little journeys. Bicycles are environmentally friendly, and a great form of exercise. To encourage more people to cycle and to help and reduce the amount of unused bicycles, The Movement is offering a bicycle-recycling initiative where discarded or unwanted bicycles can be serviced and donated within the local community. Organic evolution is an important part of what they are doing. The immediate focus is to build The Movement and see bicycles become the fabric of the UAE landscape and people’s day-to-day lives.

Stay tuned for upcoming news on events and road maps on where you can cycle in Dubai! Join the movement!

  • In reality, if you really think about it, to miss someone is sort of missing a part of yourself. You miss the way you felt alive on adventures and sharing ideas... Because the right people make you want to throw away the plans you originally had, for a new one without having to say ‘hmm’. You just know that any adventure with them is what you crave for and, that no matter what you thought you wanted before, this is better and it’s no longer forcing things. One year ago today since I left, I’m missing my heart in Kenya. 🇰🇪
  • I still can’t get over that crazy sunrise color! A guide to tropical Salalah, Oman with @flydubai 🇴🇲 at @anantarasalalah (Link in bio) Happy Sunday!
  • I hosted the 6th social media workshop in Dubai today with such wonderful entrepreneurs - it lasted 6 hours! Reminded me on how I first started and how much I love my job!! Throwing it back to summer in Portugal where I took two weeks off and reminded myself how much we all need to step back from social pressure once in a while.
2 more workshops to go for this month! Get in touch if you would like to join ❤️ Happy weekend!
  • Your addiction to over-thinking will come back to haunt you... Less thinking and more living 👊🏻

  • I found a little oasis in the middle of the desert 🌵
What you don’t see on instagram is that I have sunk my feet in the sand so deep many times - ( Now that’s a workout for the year) I had my drone losing balance in high winds which resulted in my heart sinking over a dozen times, and have sand everywhere!! Even between my teeth!! But it’s all good :) Happy Sunday 😊
  • The outdoor season is back in Dubai!!! I’m so happy to have @zeebalife finally united with me! Picking me up when I sink in the sand after she’s done laughing! 😂

  • Almost 2 years ago when I took this picture after staying a week in @sixsensesninhvanbay in Vietnam. I remember I was debating whether or not I should take the shot because it was done on my iPhone and a broken tripod. Where you following my journey then? It’s feels like another lifetime but I still remember every detail of this trip as if it was yesterday. It’s funny how a single song or a picture can bring back so many memories and how some surprisingly fade so quickly.
  • I’ve got a thousand things to say to you... and a thousands reasons not to...
  • No matter what they say... There is no such thing as work-life balance. Everything worth fighting for, unbalances your life and that's the truth. So you just make it work. 💕
  • What if your pillow could collect all your dreams and in the morning, you can connect it to a screen and watch it all over again?
